Are your programs AMA PRA Category I accredited?
Yes, all of our active programs have been approved for AMA PRA Category I Credit™.  We work with several different providers to receive credit awards for our programs.  Credit award and expiration dates are noted in the details of every product page.

How do I apply for credit?
For DVD-ROM Customers: You will need an online connection to apply for credits.  In each DVD-ROM’s Main Menu, you will note a section entitled Accreditation.  This section provides a link to our CME website.  Here you will need to complete the Learner Information, Post Test and Evaluation forms.  Once these forms are submitted online as directed on our website, a link to your CME Certificate will be emailed to the address provided within 1-3 work days.  Only registered purchasers of this DVD-ROM are eligible to receive credit.

For Online Streaming Customers: When in the Main Menu for all Streaming Activities, you will note a CME button to the right of the Activity title.  This will link you to the same Learner Information, Post Test and Evaluation forms referenced above.  Once you complete these forms, you can immediately save and/or print your certificate by clicking the Retrieve Certificate button at the bottom of the page.  Only registered account holders are eligible to receive credit.

Please note: Meetings By Mail programs sponsored by Cleveland Clinic, such as Advances in Vascular Imaging & Diagnosis, have a slightly different procedure for claiming credit, but it follows the same general guidelines as above.  Each individual program contains explicit instructions on how to obtain CME credit.

Is there a test?
While tests are required for CME and Board Certification purposes, we make them as user friendly as possible.  Our Post Tests generally contain 10-20 True/False questions for the entire activity.  These questions are available for your review while watching the presentations:  either print from the DVD-ROM’s Accreditation section, or click the Preview Post-Test link at the bottom of the page for all Online Streaming Activities.  If you answer a Post Test question incorrectly, our CME website will advise you of this and allow you to re-answer the question, prior to submittal.  Once you achieve a score of 70% correct or more, you can submit your CME application.

How many people can apply for CME credit from a program?
Our policy is one CME applicant per program.  However, if you are part of a group interested in obtaining credit from one of our programs, we do sell multiple copies at quantity based discounts.  These discounts are as follows:

2 copies—10% off
3-5 copies—20% off
6-9 copies—30% off
10 or more copies—40% off

Do Meetings By Mail programs meet MOC requirements?
Yes!  The American Board of Radiology’s CME requirement for the Maintenance of Certification is 75 AMA PRA Category I Credits™ every three years.  Of these 75 credits, at least 25 must be self assessment CME (SA-CME).  As enduring materials, credits from our programs count 100 percent toward this SA-CME requirement.

What other educational requirements do your programs fulfill?
Our programs are designed to help the busy professional meet their educational requirements with minimal time spent outside the office.  They can be used to fulfill vascular lab, echo lab, CT, MR, ultrasound, MQSA, MIPPA, nuclear imaging and Cardiac CT CME requirements, among others.  If you have any questions about the educational guidelines met by our programs, please contact us.

Can I watch Meetings By Mail programs online?
Yes you can!  With very few exceptions, all currently accredited Meetings By Mail activities are all available for online streaming.  Just select Streaming when purchasing the product, and you will be able to view it immediately!  For more specific Streaming questions, click here.

I prefer “Old-School” CME.  Can I still purchase Meetings By Mail programs on DVD-ROM?
Sure!  All Meetings By Mail activities are still available in DVD-ROM format, with the same dynamic features you have grown accustomed to over the years.  Just select DVD-ROM when purchasing the product, and we will ship it to your door.

Will Meetings By Mail programs play on my mobile device?
Yes!  Meetings By Mail Online Streaming activities will scale to fit perfectly on all of your mobile devices.  Additionally, presentations can be Exported from our DVD-ROMs for viewing on your mobile device.  This Export feature is accessible from the Main Menu of all programs from 2011 to present.  It will copy the presentations that you have selected to a hard drive folder of your choosing.  You can then manually transfer the video content from your computer to your mobile device.  You can see more about this feature and compatible devices here.

Will Meetings By Mail programs play on my DVD player/television?
If you have a “Smart” TV that can access the internet, you can play any Meetings By Mail Online Streaming Activity.  If you intend to use your DVD player, please note our DVD-ROMs are meant to be played on a computer.  They will not play on a standard DVD player because they are not regular DVDs.  DVD-ROMs offer much greater capacity and functionality than regular DVDs.  Meetings By Mail fits all educational material (15 to 40 hours of presentations/cases and all necessary CME information) on one DVD-ROM.  Our programs also contain active weblinks, printable portions and bookmarking applications that would not be functional in standard DVD format.  Additionally, navigation controls for the presentations and programs are far more dynamic that your standard “play, pause, stop” controls on a DVD.  Other companies will place similar amounts of presentation materials on 15-20 DVDs.  We can fit the same material on just one disc.

Incidentally, most modern televisions double as computer monitors, so you can plug your computer in and watch the programs on the big screen all the same! 

Will it play on my Mac?
Yes!  Any Meetings By Mail Online Streaming activity will play on your Mac just fine.  As for DVD-ROMs, all Meetings By Mail programs are dual sourced, meaning they can play on both PCs and Macs, in general.  Please click here to see more about Mac compatibility.

Why do I need to have an account?
We implemented an account system for all customers in order to enable Online Streaming functions.  Your user Account will keep track of all purchases, offers immediate access to our Streaming service and allows for expedited awarding of CME certificates.  Your account, and all of its features, can be accessed from any computer or device connected online.  

How do you re-purpose live conferences as enduring materials?
The technical quality of Meetings By Mail programs begins with the capture.  At the live conference, Meetings by Mail digitally records all slides, audio and video.  We use the highest quality HD video in our recordings, for maximum image clarity.  All animation, embedded videos and speaker’s cursor movements are captured and incorporated as well.  As a result, our programs contain the highest quality images available. 

In addition, the organization and interactivity of Meetings By Mail products are without peer.  All presentations are organized into the format of the live meeting agenda.  They can be accessed by viewing this full agenda, and/or through topic, speaker and keyword search.  The presentations are viewable through our proprietary software.  Since their debut in the early 1990s, all Meetings By Mail programs are designed for maximum quality and efficiency for the busy medical professional.

How soon will I receive my order?
If you choose the Online Streaming option, you will receive it immediately!  If you choose the DVD-ROM option, we use the U.S. Postal Priority Service for all standard shipments in the United States and Canada.  Domestic packages will be received within 2-3 days of shipment, depending on your address.  Packages sent to Canada may take approximately 7 days to reach their destination.  You will receive an email with a tracking number as soon as your package is shipped.

Can you send my order overnight?
Yes we can.  Please choose your preferred shipment method from our options at checkout.  If “Next Day Shipping” is selected, and the Order is placed before 4:30pm EST M-F, we will ship it out on the same day.  If you would prefer a method of shipment not offered on our website, please contact us directly (sales@meetings-by-mail.com or 973-989-0914) and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes we do.  Just select your preferred method of shipment at checkout.

Is there a printed syllabus?
Meetings By Mail strives to keep all course materials accessible from the Online Streaming activities and DVD-ROMs themselves, so there is no extra printed syllabus.

How do I access my Online Streaming activities?
Once you purchase an activity, it is placed into your Account.  You can access it immediately through the link at the bottom of your receipt.  Even if you cannot locate your receipt, you can always access your activities by visiting www.Meetings-By-Mail.com and logging in to access your account.  Once you are logged in, click Account at the top of the page and then “Click here to access your Streaming Activities.”   


Can I access my Online Streaming activities using different computers or devices?
Yes, all of your Online Streaming activities will be in your Account, which you can access through any computer or device with an online connection.  Just advance to www.Meetings-By-Mail.com, login, and click Account to access. 

How do I keep my place in the Online Streaming activity for future viewing?
When you leave an Online Streaming activity, your place is automatically bookmarked in your Account.  When you return and click on your Activity, just click Resume to pick up where you left off.  The Resume function will work even if you are switching between devices.   

Can my partners, department or group access an Online Streaming activity?
Yes!  Each CME applicant will need their own account in order to be eligible for credit, but we do offer quantity discounts up to 40% off for group purchases!  If you make a group purchase at www.Meetings-By-Mail.com, you will be emailed directions for other group members to claim their copies.  If you have any other questions about group purchases, please contact us directly at sales@meetings-by-mail.com and/or (973) 989-0914.   

How long will my purchased Online Streaming activity remain available for viewing?
You will be able to access your Online Streaming activity for the entirety of its CME accreditation term.  After that term expires, you can still access the activity for another full year.  Upon the one year anniversary of CME credit expiration, the activity will be removed from our servers.  If you wish to maintain the content forever following removal, online customers will have the opportunity to purchase the activity on DVD-ROM at a heavily discounted rate.
