Mobile Device Compatibility for the Export feature available on select Meetings by Mail DVD-ROM products:
Meetings By Mail recently incorporated a new feature to export individual presentations from its DVD-ROMs for viewing on your mobile device. This Export feature is accessible from the Main Menu of all programs from 2011 to present. It will copy the presentations that you have selected to a hard drive folder of your choosing. You can then manually transfer the video content from your computer to your mobile device.
The presentations will export as a video file of the following type:
Video Specifications: H.264 MP4 at 1024 x 768 with 44,100kHz mono AAC audio track
These files have been engineered primarily for the Apple iOS and Google Android platforms, including iPads, iPhones (4 and up), iPod Touch (4th Generation and up), Droid smart phones, Droid based tablets and Microsoft Windows Media Players. Additionally, the files should work with most devices that are capable of playing back MP4 video, such as Kindle Fire and Nook HD. If you have used our Export feature to play our presentations on a device not listed here, e-mail us and let us know!
If you have any questions regarding compatibility of your Mobile Device, or need help playing the presentations, please e-mail us. Be sure to detail the specifications of your device and any problems with the content, and we will be happy to assist you. In addition, please note there is an option to re-encode video to a format that will be compatible with your device via a third-party video encoding software such as the freely available Freemake Video Converter.
If, ultimately, we cannot get the files to play on your Mobile Device as stated above, you may return the product for a full refund (before any CME credit is received). We hope you enjoy this exciting new feature!
